A small collection of songs I have produced and played bass on, as well as live studio recording sessions, in styles ranging from rock/pop to electronica. All bass parts were recorded live in the studio using my real and one-of-a-kind original 1966 vintage Precision Fender bass, even on the electro-style tracks. Although I have many basses, nothing beats my 1966 Precision, and I learn that again and again each and every time I try to search for the perfect bass sound. I also use high-class analog filters when needed; they can be heard on some of the videos below.
Groovy and melodic bass for the electro style. Used my analog moogerfooger filters on this one.
Clean bass sound, wide range, nice round lows, and perfect sustain... the classic bass sound.
Simply recording through a delay unit, I have created a very active and progressive bass track.
Just as the song title suggests, I have distorted the bass track using my analog Fuzz pedal.
Using a pick to give this rock song the right bass attack, sustain and feel.
Live Recording Session
This video shows me and my team recording live together in the studio.
Bassline Recording Session
Simply recording a bassline for a single verse, accompanied only by the drum track.
Bass Solo Part
Recording the bass solo part for Rendezvous' "Blues In Space" track, using my LowPass filter.
